HOW CAMP CARDS WORK
Camp cards are a great way for your scout to earn their way for Summer camp. The cards sell for $10 and your scout earns $4. That money is placed into their scout account. If your scout will not be able to attend one of the camps, that money can be used to purchase items at the scout store or other merchants. The only requirement is the purchase has to be scout related. Example, buy a tent for camping at Wal-Mart. Save the receipt and turn it into our pack treasurer for re-imbursement.

"Hi, my name is ______ and I'm selling Camp Cards so I can earn my way to Summer Camp. Will you please buy one? They can save you a lot of money when you use them.
Both you and your scout need to be familiar with the offers on the card and how they work. Most of the discounts can be used for 9 months as many times as you like. Some are only good at specific locations. You as an adult can help your scout close the sale by highlighting the very best offer(s) on the card.
***Blow up the attachment and make an 11 X17 color copy and laminate it*** This helps customers see the offers. Gives your scout a great selling tool.
You're not committed to selling what you ask me to get for your scout. If you get 25 and only sell 17 just turn in the remaining 8 along with the money collected. Very important to turn in the 8 not sold. I have to track this and any that are lost have to be paid. In other words each card represents real money.
