A den is a group of boys who are in the same grade in school.  A den leaders in in charge of the activities, which include games, crafts, skits, ceremonies and lots of fun.

· First Grade: Tigers

· Second Grade: Wolves

· Third Grade: Bears

· Fourth Grade: Webelos I

· Fifth Grade: Webelos II

Every Cub Scout is also a member of the Pack.  The Pack is made up of all of the dens.  Our pack is 109, and we are sponsored by Shady Grove UMC.  We are part of the Akela District of the Old North State Council.

The Cubmaster leads pack meetings, with Scouts and their families in attendance.  The pack meeting is made up of fun activities, as well as the presentation of awards that have been earned during the month.  Important announcements are shared and there is usually an opportunity to sign up for pack activities.
