What is Cub Scouting?
Cub Scouting provides fun and challenging activites that promote character development and personal fitness.  Service projects, ceremonies, games and events provide opportunities to recognize effort and personal achievement.  Cub Scouts learn honesty and respect as they build relationships with other boys, parents, and leaders.

What are the requirements to join Cub Scouts?
Boys from 1st through 5th grade may join Cub Scouts. 

How many meetings are there?
There is one pack meeting every month, and each den meets one or two times a month.

What is a Pack or Den? What is a Tiger, Wolf, Bear or Webelo?
A pack is the entire group of boys from 1st through 5th grade.  A den is a smaller group of boys from the same grade.
Tigers - first grade
Wolf - second grade
Bear - third grade
Webelo - fourth and fifth grade

What are the responsibilities of a parent?
-Provide help and support for the pack and den.
-Work with your son on advancement projects and activities.
-Attend pack meetings with your son.
-Present his achievement awards to him at pack meetings.
-Attend and assist at den meetings and outings as needed.

Do Cub Scouts Camp?
Yes, but they work up to it. They may camp with a parent or their family.
