To: Webelos Leaders, Committee Chairs and Cub Masters
BSA Troop 153 invites parents to bring their fourth and fifth grade Webelos to a Troop/Webelos Outing at Camp Lakota in Woodstock. Check In begins at 8:30 am. The program will start at 9:00 AM and go until approximately 2:00 PM-? During the program, your son will meet Troop 153’s Boy Scouts as they present different aspects of scout life. Your scout’s participation in the program activities will help him meet the requirements for his Arrow of Light in addition to familiarizing both of you with a Troop.
Date: Saturday, November 5, 2011
Time: Arrival and Check-in starts at 8:30 AM in the parking lot of Camp Lakota.
Program Begins at: 9:00 AM
Location: Directions to Camp Lakota:
Take Route 14 (Northwest Highway) past Highway 47 heading towards Harvard, approximately 8 miles to Deep Cut Road. Watch for brown sign to "BSA Camp Lakota". Turn right on Deep Cut Road approximately 3/4 mile to Camp Lakota on right.
Cost: $10.00 for 1 Parent/1 scout
+ $5.00 for additional parent
+ $5.00 for 2nd sibling/scout - who must be a 4th or 5th grade Webelos Scout
Registration Due: October 25th, 2011
Pre-registration is required as program supplies and lunch will be provided for you. Lunch is at approximately 12:30 pm. Please complete the reservation form attached (one per Pack) and mail with a check for the total payable to BSA Troop 153 to:

“Be Prepared” – Dress for the weather - this is primarily an outdoor program. Webelos should bring a skit, song or joke to participate in the festivities.
