MEETINGS:  We meet each Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30pm. Location-Fisler Elementary

OUTINGS:  The troop schedules one outing each month.  Some are day outings, but most are overnight camping.  The costs range from less than $10 to around $30 per outing.  Summer camp (in July or August) is approximately $350-$500 per Scout.

FUNDRAISERS: The scouts can also offset the costs of outings by working at numerous fundraising events such as the annual popcorn fundraiser, Scout-O-Rama fundraiser and another fundraiser that is TBD. Some activities require parent participation, as the scouts are not allowed to work by themselves. The scouts are paid per shift worked, depending on the net profits at the end of the activity.  This money can be used by the scout to help cover the cost of outings and summer camp.

YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING:  Youth protection is the No. 1 concern of the BSA.  Youth protection training is required for all parents/leaders.  Youth Protection Training must be taken every two years. If a volunteer's Youth Protection Training record is not current at the time of re-charter, the volunteer will not be reregistered.
