Where: | Franklin County Fairgrounds 4854 Northwest Parkway, Hilliard, OH 43026 Click here for a map. | When: | July 4, 2014 TBD AM (Most likely plan on a 9:30 - 10:00 arrival at the Fairgrounds) | Uniform: | Class A -- Official Cub Scout uniform shirt, Official Cub Scout hat, Official Cub Scout belt, Official Cub Scout Convertible pants/shorts or pants/shorts of a similar color, material, and style. If you are new to Cub Scouting, a uniform is not required for the parade. THIS IS A CLASS A UNIFORM EVENT WHERE WE WANT TO LOOK OUR BEST. PLEASE WEAR YOUR CLASS A UNIFORM AND LOOK SHARP! | Bring: | Sunscreen. Water bottle/canteen. Sunscreen. Comfortable shoes fit for walking a mile or two. Sunscreen. If you want to bike, you MUST bring and wear your helmet. NO EXCEPTIONS. Sunscreen. Tiger Cubs must have an adult walking/riding with them the entire length of the parade. It would be a good idea to wear sunscreen. It might be a good idea to bring some sort of small game for entertainment while we are waiting for the parade to start. A lot of hurry up and wait takes place | Sign-up: | No sign-up required. | We will either walk, bike or ride a float in the Hilliard Independence Day parade.
Please note, drop off and pick up will be at different locations. We will post the pick-up location as soon as we know the parade route, or we will tell you on the day of the event.
FINDING THE PACK COULD BE DIFFICULT. The parade assembly process is wild. Hundreds of people will be lining up in the same field. Multiple Scouting units will be in the parade. Look for a Pack 148 leader near the street to guide you to our location.
