Pack 421 is sponsored by the Archer Lodge Community Center and is located near the center of Archer Lodge. Our members are generally part of the town of Archer Lodge and surrounding community. We have a family friendly atmosphere and enjoy a sense of pride in our community.
We meet in the basement of White Oak Baptist Church for our regular den meetings which are Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. We open as a pack and give updates or notices to all members of the pack at the same time so that all families have the same information and are on the same page. The dens then split up for individual den activities. Our Pack meetings are held in the Archer Lodge Community Center, or outside – depending on the weather, on the 4th Tuesday of the month.

Each den has its own page where families can check to see their den’s upcoming activities ona tab from the homepage, which also includes a Pack event calendar. Much more information is shared inside the private section and is only accessible by family members. All families are updated by an automatic message service from our website to ensure reminders for upcoming activities and events.
The Pack has experienced varied activities in past years. Our general program contains fairly usual Cub Scout Activities with more Scouting events sprinkled in throughout the year. We begin with a Bobcat Blitz, to get everyone started off on the right path. Our older members will teach the new Cubs their requirements for their Bobcat Badge. Our Fall Campout (Camp-o-ree) is based in Archer Lodge as Cubs new to the program seem to assimilate into the program easier when in familiar territory for our first major event. We support the needy in our area by having a pre-holiday food drive. Our pinewood derby cars are provided at our Christmas Party in plenty of time for car preparation for the Pinewood Derby that is held in Late January. We celebrate the birthday of Scouting in February during our Blue and Gold. Say goodbye to our Senior Webelos den during the Arrow of Light and Crossover Ceremony. We shake off the winter with a Spring Camp-o-ree and get going outside again.
We are looking forward to MORE activities as the Cub Scout program adds more STEM activities to stimulate and educate young minds in a family friendly environment. We hope to see you and your family become part of the Pack 421 family.
