IF THE UNIFORM SEEMS BIG AT FIRST, DON’T WORRY.

They grow into it, literally and otherwise.
Cub Scouts grow in more ways than one.

Wearing uniforms has been a method of the Scouting movement from the beginning. Its uniforms help to create a sense of belonging. Wearing a uniform gives youth and adult members a sense of identification and commitment to the Cub Scout Program.

The Cub Scout Uniform includes:
  • Shirt: The official uniform shirt is available in short and long sleeved and has button-flap pockets and "Boy Scouts of America" lettered in gold above the right pocket.
  • Belt: Official navy-blue web belt with metal buckle and Cub Scout or Webelos Scout emblem.
  • Cap: Official navy-blue cap with orange panel for Tigers, yellow panel for Wolves, blue panel for Bears. Webelos Scouts wear an olive cap with a plaid panel.
  • Neckerchief: Triangular neckerchief is orange/navy-blue for Tigers, yellow/navy-blue for Wolves, blue/navy-blue for Bears and plaid for Webelos Scouts.
  • Neckerchief Slide: Official gold-tone metal slide with the Tiger, Wolf, Bear or Webelos logo.
Webelos Scouts, boys in fourth and fifth grade, have the option to wear either the blue Webelos uniform or the tan/olive uniform similar to the one the Boy Scouts wear.

All uniform items are available on Okinawa at the Far East Council Scout Shop. Uniforms are also able to be purchased online at ScoutStuff.org.
