Josh D Staple

Hello,

My name is Josh Staple and I am the Ranger Training Advisor of Crew 34 in Des Moines, Iowa meeting at Grandview Lutheran Church. I have been in scouting since I was eight-years-old. I grew up on the south side of Des Moines, and graduated from Lincoln High School. I am also a graduate of Upper Iowa University with a Bachelor or Science Degree in Emergency and Disaster Management. I bring to scouting a lot of outdoor experience in wilderness survival, wilderness first response/search and rescue, I also have knowledge and experience in local and American History. What I get out of scouting is seeing the scouts and crew members succeed in life and to make well informed decisions now and in the future.
I am an instructor for Leave No Trace, CERT and soon to be a CPR/AED instructor.
