December 2009 - Broomball

We participated in the council sponsored Broomball event at the San Diego Ice Arena in Mira Mesa in January. It is a very fun event, and we look forward to attending the next Broomball event.

September 2009 - Venturing Rendezvous at YAC

Water sports were the focus of this Rendezvous	Taking a break from the activities	Tent city on Fiesta Island

The 2009 Venturing Rendezvous at the Youth Aquatic Center (YAC) on Fiesta Island was our first official outing. The resources of the YAC were available for all the Venturers to use, and we enjoyed canoeing and kayaking. Sailboats were also available for people with sailing experience. We also had fun hanging out in our campsite and playing cards. We cooked a Pineapple Upside-down Cake and Pineapple Chicken with Rice in Dutch ovens for the potluck. It was a great weekend of camping and fellowship with other crews from around the council.
