Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 771!

Greetings! Pack 771 has been operating for over 40 years, benefiting greatly from the support of our charter organization, St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Annapolis, Maryland.  Cub scouting is open to boys in the 1st through 5th grades of any religious affiliation.

Since its beginning, the Cub Scout program has been a fun and educational experience concerned with values. Besides providing a positive place where boys can enjoy safe, wholesome activities, Cub Scouting focuses on building character, improving physical fitness, teaching practical skills, and developing a spirit of community service.

In addition to occasional weekend events, Pack 771 typically meets on the first three Wednesdays of each month from 6-7pm at St. Martin's School, which is located on the corner of Spa Road and Hilltop Lane.  There is also parking available off of Forest Drive, which provides the most convenient entrance to the school for our regular meetings.

We welcome new members anytime of the year and look forward to seeing you at a meeting!  Please contact me, Bryan Flynn, by using the Contact our Pack tab at the top of the page to let us know when to expect you or if you have any questions.  More information about the pack and our schedule is available below.

Best wishes,

Bryan Flynn, Cubmaster

Indicative costs

We aim to minimize costs and encourage greater participation – limited fundraising campaigns such as popcorn sales help immensely.

Please let us try and help if fees would prevent your prospective cub scout from joining.

Typical fees for the school year include:
  • $75 youth annual dues – includes uniform neckerchief, slide, den handbook and annual subscription to Boy’s Life Magazine
  • $25 adult annual dues – all Pack leaders and parents of Tiger Cubs (1st graders) are obliged to join as members of the pack
  • $40 for a new uniform (shirt-$25 and cap-$15) which will last a good number of years – we have a good supply of used uniform items which may help offset costs. we always welcome donations of gently used uniform items
  • $10 cost of a pack t-shirt - Class “B” uniform for outdoor/physical activity
  • Depending upon the rank of your child they would either wear navy blue (Tiger, Wolf, Bear) or olive green (Webelos) shorts/trousers.
  • Other contributions of $5-10 may be requested to help offset the cost of key events, depending on the success of our autumn fundraising activities

We are always looking for enthusiastic adult volunteers!

We have a motivated group of pack leaders and we’d welcome additional ideas and talents.  Please let us know what your interests are.
