Proverbs 22:6

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

The members of Cub Scout Pack 226 are proud members of one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations, the Boy Scouts of America. We provide a program to boys that emphasizes character building, citizenship, and physical fitness.

Through providing a wide range of activities and instilling core values, we strive to help build the future leaders of America.  The skills and values learned as a member of the BSA will provide a solid foundation to every boy throughout his life.

Cub Scout Pack 226 instills the Cub Scout Motto of "Do Your Best" through an environment emphasizing a wide variety activities that are both educational and fun.  We teach every boy in Pack 226 the aims of Scouting (citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness) through the activities at Pack and Den meetinings, as well as consistently adhering to the Cub Scout Promise, Law of the Pack, Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute.

Cub Scout Promise

I, (name), promise to do my best

To do my duty to God and my country,

To help other people, and

To obey the Law of the Pack.

Law of the Pack

The Cub Scout follows Akela.

The Cub Scout helps the pack go.

The pack helps the Cub Scout grow.

The Cub Scout gives goodwill.
