Mountain Home, Idaho

Troop 57 is a medium size troop located in Mountain Home and is Chartered by the First Congregational Church where we meet each Monday from 7:00 - 8:30 PM (The Cub Scout Pack 57 [1st through 5th grade] meets at the Church on Tuesdays from 7:00 - 8:00).  We are located in Elmore County
and are part of the Oregon Trail District in the ORE-IDA Council.  Mountain Home is a smaller size town with a populous of 10-15 thousand people and is comprised of local town folk, outlining farming communities and rotating personnel from Mountain Home AFB.

Troop 57 is an active all year camping and scout lead troop with an average of 10-15 active scouts and 6-8 active adult leaders.  The Scouts decide on what activities and camporees they attend and try to camp at least once a month. Troop 57 usually attends Willow Creek Camporee outside of Emmett, Id. and Camp Wilson north of Mountain Home every spring.

Please stop by or contact us if you have any questions about our troop or if you have any questions about local scouting in general.  We will be happy to give you any information about any of the scouting opportunities in the Mountain Home area or gladly point you in the right direction.

Yours in Scouting,
Troop 57
