Come and see what all the fun is about! We will host a Recruit Night where you can learn more about our Pack, ask questions, and sign up for Cub Scouts. Boys entering the First through Fourth Grades and their families are welcome.

Where:   Westergard Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room

                 (Corner of Ambassador and Avineda de Landa)

Cost:      Boys signing up for the fall will be charged a pro-rated fee of 
              $14 with a Boy's Life Magazine subscription, and $10 without. 

              Annual dues are $47 and $35, respectively, and are collected at
              the end of the year.

We will place Scouts into new Dens during this meeting and will need some parents to offer to be Den Leaders. Training will be provided and your commitment will bring great rewards.

Cub Scouting means "doing." Everything in Cub Scouting is designed to have the boys doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting—citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Many of the activities happen right in the den and pack. The most important are the weekly den meetings and the monthly pack meetings.

Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a boy's sense of belonging.

Pack 512 is a large Cub Scout Pack based in Northwest Reno. Our current membership is over 85 Scouts strong!!
