Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 789, Camp Pendleton, CA

Our Cub Scouts mainly attend Mary Fay Pendleton School of the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. We are chartered by the Marine Memorial Chapel located in the Main Side area of Camp Pendleton.
Our Cub Scout Pack's Unit Number 789

Our Pack has about 40 to 50 boys organized by Dens. Each Den usually has 6 to 8 boys of the same grade level. Dens are a great way to make and stay in touch with friends. Boys may join at any grade, whether or not they've been scouts before.
  • 1st graders are in Tiger Dens
  • 2nd graders are in Wolf Dens
  • 3rd graders are in Bear Dens
  • 4th graders are in Webelos I Dens
  • 5th graders are in Webelos II Dens
Join Pack 789!
Our Pack Leadership is made up of parent volunteers who have sons in our program. There are no paid personnel running our Pack; therefore, we need parents like yourself to help run this great group of boys!

  • Pack 789 is NOT Exclusive - We welcome boys and families of all races, ethnic groups, and religious backgrounds.
  • Pack 789 is NOT Day Care - Your family will need to attend all events and be active in our Pack. You need to watch your own kids.
  • Our activities are family, parent/son oriented and some welcome other siblings
  • Everyone is expected to "Help Pack 789 Go!"

Please take some time and familiarize yourself with our extensive website. Click on the "Contact Our Pack" link at the top to join Cub Scout Pack 789 today! We look forward to seeing your family at our next Pack Meeting.

Sincerely,
Pack 789 Leadership

"DO YOUR BEST"

The Cub Scout Motto is to "Do your best". This Motto should be remembered every day not just during Cub Scout activities. When you clean your room, "Do Your Best". When you do your school work, "Do Your Best". You should always "Do Your Best" to obey your parents. You are a Cub Scout every day, even when there is no Scouting activities and you should "Do your best" in all you do.

Happy Scouting,
Cubmaster Mark
