Cub Scout Pack 671 is based in Withamsville Ohio and is sponsored by Mt. Moriah Church and is an active and thriving Pack with a very active schedule to keep the boys engaged and excited about Cub Scouts.
We have Dens for each age category, Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Webelos scouts. Each den meets weekly and has a trained leader to make sure the boys understand what scouting is and how they can use the skills in their daily lives. We are a feeder pack for Troop 671 which is also very active in the area and allows for our cub scouts to continue their journey.
We've gone Camping to various sites in the area, gone hiking in some of the nicest parks in Cincinnati, attended Cyclones Hockey games, raced our Pinewood Derby cars, and most of all had fun! We've even "turned a good deed" by doing community service work in our area.
We won't stop just because it's summer, we have a whole summer filled with activities including fishing, rocket launching, camping, hiking, and other cool things.
For 2012 our pack was awarded the Gold Journey to Excellence Award. This award is given to only a select number of Cub Scout Packs that are active all year with high attendance, and the Gold level is the highest possible level.
