Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 4022 of Ridgebury, PA

Pack 4022 is located in the Ridgebury Township of Bradford County Pennsylvania. The Ridgebury Township is now our chartered organization and we meet Monday evenings at the Ridgeury Township building.  Our Pack is proud to be part of the Andaste District within the Five Rivers Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

We meet every Monday evening from September through the start of June.  The first Monday of the month is our Pack meeting where family members are welcomed to join in the recognition of the boy's achievements and take part in some of the fun and games we have.  During the summer months of June, July and August we relax back from the weekly den meetings but get together twice per month for a fun outing of a ball game, automobile races, camping, picnic, hikes, games, bowling, swimming and more.

Some of the activities and events our group takes part in are as follows:  BSA Popcorn sales and fundraisers to help our Pack go; Scouting for Food drive to support those in our community in need of food items; Pack and District Pinewood Derby Races; Park and Roadside cleanups throughout our community; Gone Fishing; model rocket launches; games of kickball and "hoop-shooting"; Day Camp at council sites and WEBELOS Resident Camp at council camps; visits to museums and parks; live ball games; automobile races and looking for more fun and adventure at every turn.  So bring your enthusiasm and your ideas out to our Pack and join in our fun !!  And if you are already a part of our Pack family, be sure to log in to see more inside the secure site including the calendar of events.

When does the Scouting season start?

Scouting does not have a season.  It is a year round activity-based character development program.  Through games, crafts, hiking, camping and more, boys learn and explore the world around them and a little bit about themselves in the process.  Youth are welcomed to join at anytime but we usually try to do a 'round-up' in the September and June time-frames.

See this article from Baylor University about how the BSA programs have helped others youths and young men become better, more well-rounded individuals in their families, careers and communities.

What kind of people become Eagle Scouts?  All kinds!  Take a look at this listing on Wikipedia and see if you recognize any names.  Even if you do not, look at the persons' notability.  Athletes, Astronauts, Judges, Governmental Leaders, Military Leaders, TV and Radio Personalities, etc, etc, etc.
