All of us at Pack 307 are proud to be a part of the Scouting community and work hard to put together a great program for our Tigers, Wolves, Bears, and Webelos. All our Scouts are excited to learn, help others, and have fun while doing our best! Our goal is for this site to serve as a valuable resource for current and prospective Cub Scouts and their adult team members.
Why is Cub Scouting important? Cub Scouting helps to instill worthy core values in every boy...do your best, help others, and serve God and America are a few of the promises a new Cub Scout makes. Cub Scouts are also taught to respect nature, to be kind to those who are different, to be self-sufficient, and many other positive character traits. Along the way, Cub Scouts also get to make new friends, try new things, learn new skills, and visit new places. Being a Cub Scout is a self-esteem building, positive experience.
Pack 307 is extremely grateful to our charter organization, Aldersgate UMC Mens Group. They are truly dedicated partners in developing and delivering an outstanding Scouting program to each boy. Originally called Forest Ave Methodist Church, Aldersgate has served as a sponsor of Scouting for over 74 years. Following the church relocation in November of 1978, Pack 307 moved to its current home and has continued to grow and prosper.
The Pack has a functioning Pack Committee and together with our adult leaders and parents we have earned recognition as a Presidential/Honor/Quality/Journey to Excellence Gold recipient every year these awards have been presented.
