Looking for a Girl Scout troop in Arlington, Virginia?
We are always looking for adult volunteers to help our members become girls of courage, confidence and character. And, of course, we welcome all girls who would like the challenges of outdoor fun, selling cookies (yum, yum...) and making new friends.
Our Membership Specialist at the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital is Josie Gilliland, who can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone at 202-534-3763
Enroll now for fall troops! Visit our Council website at www.gscnc.org or contact Josie directly. Financial assistance is offered as needed for girls and volunteers.
RIGHT NOW! We are especially looking for an active young woman (with or without experience as a Girl Scout) who would enjoy helping to lead girls of middle school age in growing an existing troop. Share your enthusiasm! Do you like archery? horseback riding? animals? white-water rafting? carpentry? astronomy? cooking? These Girl Scout Cadettes are up for the excitement of new adventures, and they need an additional enthusiastic adult advisor.
WE ALSO NEED LEADERS for our Junior troop of 5th and 6th graders. 8-10 girls are waiting to become active Girl Scouts. They enjoy earning all sorts of badges, camping, and singing. Do you play the guitar, like camping, have First Aid training? Cookie sales are just around the corner and we need to get organized!
