Troop Founder and First Scoutmaster: Paul Wethern
Boys Scouts was a very important part of Paul Wethern’s life. He founded Troop 176 in 1930. Its designation was eventually changed to Troop 276. We celebrated our 80th anniversary is 2010. Paul was very active throughout the Champlin and Anoka communities. Our troop remembers Paul at the end of every troop meeting by holding hands “left over right”, a tradition he started just to be different.
