Welcome to Pack 2's Cub Scouting page. Pack 2 is a Cub Scouting program of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) based out of Des Moines, Iowa. The overall mission is to help young people build character, learn citizenship, and develop personal fitness.
Cub Scouting has 10 purposes that help build character, learn citizenship, and develop personal fitness and they are:
- Character Development
- Spiritual Growth
- Good Citizenship
- Sportsmanship and Fitness
- Family Understanding
- Respectful Relationships
- Personal Achievement
- Friendly Service
- Fun and Adventure
- Preparing for Boy Scouts
One of the first things Cub Scouts learn is the Cub Scout Motto which is DO YOUR BEST. Cub Scouts do their best in order to complete various adventures that will help them achieve the 10 purposes listed above.
