Troop 116 is a quality Boy Scout Troop in Idaho servicing the community of Nampa.  Boys can join when they are in 6th grade or 11 years old or have earned the Arrow of Light Award as a Cub Scout. In our Troop they will work together in patrols as they advance through the ranks of Scouter, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, Life and Eagle.  For the past couple of years we have averaged about 25 boys actively involved.  We meet at the 1st United Methodist Church at 2717 12th Ave each Monday at 7:00 throughout the year.  We have many outdoor activities, campouts and service projects; the main service project for the community each year is Scouting for Food.  It is our goal for the Boy Scouts to learn many skills for the outdoors and to prepare them to be good leaders.
