Welcome to Pack 48 in Glenside, PA

Cub Scout Pack 48 is a friendly community that welcomes scouts in grades 1-5 from all families in the Glenside area. Most of our scouts attend Copper Beech Elementary School; we also have scouts who are students at Queen of Peace. Any boy of cub scouting age can join our pack, regardless of where they go to school.

Scouting is a great opportunity for boys to explore their world through various activities at home, with their den, and with their pack. We model respectful behavior while encouraging scouts to have fun, develop skills, and be responsible members of their communities.

Our pack meetings are usually held on the fourth Tuesday of the month at St. Paul's Church, located at the intersection of Easton Road and Mt. Carmel Avenue. Special pack events are scheduled throughout the year – these include service projects, day trips, and weekend camping trips.

Most of the scouting activities are done in dens, which are groups of 6-10 boys (in the same grade at school) and their adult partners. Dens meet twice a month on weekday evenings and also have monthly go-see-its (field trips) on weekend days. Pack leaders, parents, and scouts all work together to create experiences that are both fun and meaningful.

Please send us an email (though the "Contact Our Pack" link above) if you would like more information about scouting with Pack 48!
