Cub Scout Pack 117 is sponsored by St John the Baptist School & Church in Alden. We are part of the Onondaga District of the Boy Scouts of America, which is part of the Greater Niagara Frontier Council (GNFC).

We have scouts from both St John the Baptist School and Alden Primary School. We met one Tuesday month for a Pack Meeting and one Thursday a month for a Den Meeting. Our Pack Meetings all family members are welcome to join the meeting. Our Den Meetings we sometimes like parents to stay to help with projects the scouts are working on during the meeting.

Along with our monthly Pack & Den Meetings we have an outside activity that usually happens on the weekends. We welcome all family members to join in on the outside activities which create great memories. Some of the outside activities are to help out community.

Cub Scouts is great for the boys learning responsiblity, respect for others and giving back to your community. They learn all this and have a great time with all the activities.
