We are Pack 309 – We Do Our Best All the Time!!! Our mission as a pack is to provide an opportunity for the boys to form friendships that will last a lifetime while learning valuable skills and life lessons. We accomplish this by fostering character development, team work,leadership skills, a heart for service and the pursuit of excellence. Cub Scout Pack 309 is located in the town of Clyde in the heart of Western NC. Our pack was established to help guide and mentor the development of our children based on the Cub Scout core values and principles. Our pack's charter organization is the Clyde Central United Methodist Church and we are very grateful to them for all of their help in assisting our pack to grow and in allowing us to use their wonderful facilities. We have programs for kids from first grade up through the fifth grade and are open to children from all areas. Our pack program uses activities centered on teamwork, community and the great outdoors to teach and apply the core values of scouting. Pack 309 believes that the most important key to raising a successful scout is full family support. When we plan events or functions, we like to include the whole family when possible, so please plan on participating in events along with your scout.
