Our pack is proud to be sponsored by the Optimist Club of Reno. Interested future Cub Scouts and Parents are encouraged to come and meet our Cub Scouts. Pack 585 serves boys in the 1st through the 5th grades and their families. It is our mission to promote the goals of Scouting, namely to develop character, train them in good citizenship, and encourage them to become more fit physically, mentally and morally. This is accomplished by providing age appropriate activities presented in a FUN way. Pack 585 offers plenty of opportunity for advancement, but because Scouting is considered a family program, primary responsibility for the completion of all requirements is that of the parent or guardian (Akela).
Pack 585 typically meets every Monday at 6:30 P.M. at Virginia Palmer Elementary School. All boys interested in Scouting and their families are always welcome! For more information please click the email link below and a Leader will get back to you shortly.
