Welcome to the online home of Cub Scout Pack 308 in Prospect, Kentucky. Part of the Seneca District in the Lincoln Heritage Council BSA, we're a close-knit and very active pack sponsored by St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

The number one reason boys give for joining Cub Scouts is camping. We don't let them down. We camp often during the spring, summer and fall months. (We leave the winter camping to our affiliated Boy Scout troop, Troop 308.) Some of the places we've camped recently are Lake Jericho, the Perryville Civil War Reenactment, the Abbey of Gethsemane and Mammoth Cave National Park. Each camping trip we select is within an easy drive of Louisville.

Our pack meetings are held once a month (usually at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month) in the Soubirous Room at the St. Bernadette Parish Center, located next to St. Mary Academy in Norton Commons. This tends to be a time that is both convenient and rarely interferes with sports and other activities. You are always welcome to attend a meeting and see how our pack operates before joining.

The Cub Scout motto is "Do your best." We try to instill that in every one of our boys so that they grow into successful, productive and independent young men.

We try to keep our dues very affordable. For less than the price of participation on a youth sports team, your son will enjoy a full year of scouting. Of that annual fee, a portion goes to the local BSA (Boy Scouts of America) council for registration and the rest of it remains with the pack.

The portion that remains with the pack as well as money raised during a popcorn sale is used for pack expenses throughout the year. Our annual dues for 2016-2017 are just $90.00.
