Boy Scout Troop 188 - Cleveland, TN has been in existence since 1969 - 45 years!  We meet at St. Therese of Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, 900 Clingan Ridge Dr. NW, Cleveland, TN 37312.  The Scout Room is on the second floor of the Parish Life Center.  Troop meetings are Monday nights from 7 to 8:30 PM.

June 2014 - Troop 188 had the trip of a lifetime - traveling to Philmont, NM to the Philmont Scout Ranch www.philmontscoutranch.org.  Trek number 616-K was a ten-day 70 mile back-country trip - hiking the land donated to Boy Scouts of America by Waite Philips - a wealthy oil man whith a vision for philanthopy.  His Wikipedia page can be found here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waite_Phillips.  The weather and fellowship were fantastic, and the views outstanding!  Every Scout owes it to himself to make at least one trip to Philmont!
