Since 1930, the Boy Scouts of America has helped younger boys through Cub Scouting. It is a year-round family program designed for boys who are in the first grade through fifth grade (or 7, 8, 9, and 10 years of age).
Parents, leaders, and organizations work together to achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting. Currently, Cub Scouting is the largest of the BSA's three membership divisions (the others are Boy Scouting and Venturing).
In 2010 we celebrate 100 Years of Scouting- a century marked by the impact our unique program makes on young men in the world. We are not just learning about things you can't learn in school- we are developing tomorrow's leaders- Today!
ABOUT US...
Cub Scout Pack 522 is located in Brandywine Hundred in Wilmington, Delaware. We are Chartered by Foulk Day Care and belong to the Powder Mill District in the DelMarVa Council of the BSA.
Our weekly Den meetings are held every Tuesday in the Lancashire Elementary School cafeteria from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Our Pack Meetings are typically on the first Tuesday of the month during the school year.
We do not have Den meetings in the summer but have lots of fun summer activities and outings to keep our scouts active throughout the year.
