Cub Scouting is fun for children in first through fifth grade! In Cub scouts your child will do a lot of exciting activities including camping, archery, hiking, sports, learn about computers and special outing with the pack and den among many more things to do!
There are 10 major purposes of scouting: Character Development, Spiritual growth, Good Citizenship, Sportsmanship and Fitness, Family Understanding, Respectful Relationships, Personal Achievement, Friendly Service, Fun and Adventure, and to Preparing to become a Boy Scouts. We as a Pack take pride in helping these young men to become role models in the Community, Schools, and at Home.
As a cub scout you can become a member of our Pack. The pack is then broken down into smaller groups called a den:
Tigers: When your child joins cub scouts as a first grader they will start out as a Tiger.
Wolves: Once your second grader has completed the Tiger level they will move on to be come a Wolf.
Bears: After your Third grader has completed the Wolf requirements they will move on to become a Bear.
Webelos 1: A webelos is short for "We Be Loyal Scouts". Your fourth grader will become a Webelos 1 after they have completed the requirements of the Bear.
Webelos 2: The final step in the cub scouts. Your Fifth grader will become a Webelos 2 after completing the requirements of the Webelos 1. After your child has completed the Webelos 2 they will graduate from the cub scouts to become a boy scout.
