Golden Eagles 4-H Group

Why did a bunch of Scouts start a 4-H club?

For one simple reason: everywhere we perform, kids who are too young to be in Venturing
(that's age 14) are fascinated with our drumming, singing, dancing, and outfits.
4-H provides a way to involve those kids and their parents, complete with youth protection
guidelines and program made especially for them.

Children (and parents, who are most welcome to participate in everything we do)
will learn Native American beading and crafting, sewing, dancing, and singing.
We hope to perform at a few events and powwows, and of course,
show what we have made at the 4-H Fair in July.

In addition our group will participate in many of the other activities that 4H has to offer.
Like Science weekend sleep over's, Shooting sports and much more.

We will also learn about leadership, cooperation, and how to be confident
in front of a group. We will learn to make good decisions.
Head, heart, hands, health: That pretty much says it all.
