Cub Scouts is a program designed to develop young men into the leaders and citizens of tomorrow.
Cub Scouts teaches skills that every young man should know like respect, dignity, honesty, loyalty, helpfulness, and faith in God and family. Scouting is a program for children from 1st grade to 5th grade. Kids in first grade take their first steps as Tiger cubs -- these steps are easy. As they progress to 2nd grade, their steps get bigger. As Wolves, the requirements are bigger as their knowledge increases. As 3rd graders they are known as Bears, and their steps take longer to achieve. As 4th graders their steps become a little more difficult. As Webelos, they start getting ready to take the leap into Boy Scouts. The 5th graders are also Webelos. Their steps include learning and becoming familiar with the scout oath and law. Then they have the opportunity to earn Cub Scouts' highest award: the Arrow of Light.
Cub Scouting is a fun place to make friends and learn valuable skills as a young man. There are many opportunities to go camping and also to help others. If you are interested in joining, please feel free to contact me through our contact information.
