Pack 434 travels to th Wisconsin Maritime Museum's USS Cobia, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience a first-hand a taste of submarine life. This is an educational alternative to the traditional camp-out, it also facilitates an appreciation of history and insight into a unique time in America's past.
Pack 434 will receive a guided tour and overnight accommodation on board a World War II submarine. In addition to undertaking various educational activities, participants will be offered special supervised access to some non-public areas of the submarine and admission to the Wisconsin Maritime Museum.
Cost is $44.00 per person. Food, snacks, or refreshments are not provided. You will need to bring your own bedding. Submarine is fully heated and air conditioned, but participants are encouraged to dress in layers. Programming begins at 7: 30 p.m. and includes accommodations aboard the USS Cobia, educational activities, and your museum admission the following day. Souvenirs such as patches or dog tags are purchased at an additional cost. - We will need additional information by the first week of January to purchase Dog Tags.
