Boy Scout Troop 321

Boy Scout Troop 321 meets nearly every Monday evening promptly at 7:00pm in the Family Life Center of Smithfield United Methodist Church. Eligible for boys aged 11 to 18, our troop is a boy-led unit with guidance from several leaders as needed. Troop 321 is a Quality Unit Award recipient in multiple years located in the Trailblazer District of the Longhorn Council. The troop makes every attempt to camp at least once a month, year round. There are several opportunities for the boys to serve the area, community, and council performing service work. There are many activity and outing opportunities for the boys to participate in as well. Troop 321 was originally chartered in 1961, making it the first Boy Scout Troop in the Smithfield Texas area. The troop has a rich history of earning various awards at the district and council levels, including the past two Spirit Awards at the annual spring Trailblazer District Camporee.
Troop 321 welcomes you to stop by for a visit at any time on Monday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm.

Trustworthy
Loyal
Helpful
Friendly
Courteous
Kind
  Obedient
Cheerful
Thrifty
Brave
Clean
Reverent

How to start a campfire

First a curl of birch bark as dry as it can be,
Then some twigs of soft wood dead from a tree,
Last of all some pine knots to make a kettle foam,
And there's a fire to make you think you're sitting right at home.*

From a book called " Two Little Savages"
