GUIDING YOUNG MEN OF THE FUTURE

Welcome to Boy Scout Troop 111 of Dayton, Ohio.

We hope that all who visit here will be inspired by and proud of our young men.

Our hope is to share the stories and successes of these young men as they make achievements and learn just what they are capable of.

Please come back often and remember to have FUN!

The great outdoors is part of camping

There are lot's of things to learn about going camping. You don't just grab your stuff and go. You will learn and perfect the skills for a successful and rewarding outing!

You will learn to tie knots, set up tents, cook your food on a campfire in one pot!

Mostly you will develop the skills and character it takes to be a Scout!

LEARNING BOATING SKILLS AND WATER SAFETY

The scouts went boating this summer and they had a great time, even though it was cut short with the rain.

The scouts learned about water safety and how to handle a sailing boat. We will have to do this again!

Each of the FUN events that the scouts participate in help them to learn a lot. The buddy system was in affect. Life jackets were required. Thanks to the volunteers who offered up the boats and gear for the scouts to learn and enjoy with!

Most of the events are chosen by the scouts who help with the arrangements.

The keys to success are Leadership, accountability, responsibility, honesty, and don't forget the FUN!

SKI TRIP!!!

The scouts had a wonderful time on their ski outing. Ski lessons were included. Most of the time was spent tubing. The snow was deep, the sun was shining, the excitement was all around.

After a full day we stopped on the way back to eat dinner together and brag about how good they were and how much FUN they had.

Join the Scouts and be a part of the action, activities, friendship, and FUN!
