We need YOUR help!!

We are submitting an application to the Pepsi Refresh Project.  It will be submitted on May 1, 2010, when they begin accepting new applications for the next round.  If accepted, the application will be open for voting from June 1 -30, 2010.  The number of votes received will determine the winners of grants from Pepsi.  There is the potential of 32 winners each month for a total of $1.3 million per month.

The goal of our application is to receive a $5000 grant with which we will purchase camping gear for the Troop. The items will consist of tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, camp stoves, dishes, utensils, etc.  We will also use the funds to establish a uniform closet to help current and/or future scouts with uniform items and purchase things such as t-shirts, neckerchiefs, slides and handbooks for new or bridging scouts.  If possible, and/or necessary, we will also use the funds to repair a utility trailer that is being made available to the Troop for the purpose of hauling our gear.
