Welcome, and thanks for visiting our new website!!  The reboot of our troop last year was so eventful that we decided to give a full website a try - just to keep track of all the events we have planned.

Troop 30424 is a Daisy-through-Cadette troop based out of St. Isaac Jogues School in St. Clair Shores, MI, but you don't have to be a student there to join us!  We pride ourselves on keeping every girl active, both personally and as a group in support of our community. 

And we'd like YOU to be a part of it! 

Last year, our troop focused on 3 C's: Creativity, Community Service, and Cultural Diversity

Creativity:
The troop learned Beading Crafts at Kitty Deluxe, Flower Arranging at Viviano's Florists, Basic Auto Maintenance at Stan Yee's Collision (for which we were featured in the Macomb Daily!), and frequently gathered at Lowe's & Home Depot for their monthly Saturday morning  construction projects.

Community Service:
We made fleece blankets which were sent to Haiti for the Earthquake Relief effort. collected toys for the Christmas Giving Tree, and even joined in with the Cub Scouts and Webelos of Troop 1490 to support their Operation Can-Do effort, and sing Christmas carols with them for the residents of the Shorepointe Nursing Care Center.

Cultural Diversity:
The ladies saw The NutCracker at the Detroit Opera House, watched The Crane Maiden at the Detroit Puppet Theater, and explored the Native American Festival and Mini Pow Wow at the Southfield Civic Center.
We also celebrated one of the best cultural forms - FOOD!  Our goal was to expose the troop members to a variety of foods beyond the ordinary, specializing in local, fun experiences.
