Cub Scout Fall Festival

Come out for a great day celebrating Scouting in the great outdoors.

Seasonal cooking and activities will entertain Cub Scouts alongside classics stations like BBs shooting and Archery. Hundreds of Cub Scouts have participated at this fantastic event in the past and plan to attend again this year. Will you join in the fun this fall? Our Pack will attend on Saturday October 18.

This event is for Cub Scouts - at every station all Scouts will participate FIRST. However, your whole family, den, or Pack is welcome to attend and all who register will eat their fill in the Dining Hall and receive an event patch! This event is "Rain or Shine!"

Event Location:
Camp Hart, Musser Scout Reservation
1425 Camp Road, Pennsburg PA 18073

Each day is limited to 250 Scouts participating. Scouts must attend as part of a group or with their parent and be accompanied by adults throughout the event. Scout fee is $20 and adults/siblings pay $5.

What Do I Need to Know?

Whether you were a Cub Scout or your one of your sons was a Cub Scout, it may be useful to know more about Scouting to make your boys' experience all the better.

There are number of on-line courses at www.scouting.org that can help you out:

Youth Protection Training: New leaders are required to take Youth Protection Training within 30 days of registering and before volunteer service with youth begins. Youth Protection Training must be completed every two years to remain current.

Fast Start Training: An orientation training for your volunteer position you can take to get you started before Position-Specific is available.

Leader Position-Specific Training: The main course necessary to be considered “trained” for your Scouting position. See the training page of Scouting.org for “What Makes a Trained Leader.” Please Note: The instructor-led version of Position-Specific is the preferred method of training in the BSA. Self-Study such as these e-learning courses are only for those who cannot otherwise attend a training course.

Supplemental Training: The training beyond “the basics” to learn more about a particular skill or program. Check with your local council and view the training page of Scourting.org for additional opportunities.
