Remember...
Bobcat - is the requirement your boy MUST complete when first joining cubs scouts
After Bobcat, proceed to the grade level that your boy is in:
Tiger Den - 1st grade
Wolf Den - 2nd grade
Bear Den - 3rd grade
Webelos 1 Den - 4th grade
Webelos 2 Den - 5th grade (your Cub Scout crosses over to becoming a Boy Scout
at a 'crossover' ceremony at the Blue & Gold Banquet in February)

Hey 5th graders!...Call the Council at 847.433.1813, or ask your Unit Leader, to find out what Boy Scout Troops are in your neighborhood and start visiting them
so you can choose which one to join in February!

Attention WEBELOS DENS:
To aid in completing your requirements, try...

J contacting any local Council such as:
Northeast IL Council 847.433.1813 www.neic.org
Northwest Suburban Council 847-824-6880
www.nwsc.org
and ask them if any WEBELOS COLLEGE or UNIVERSITY
sessions are being planned soon. This is a great way to
knock out multiple requirements at one time!

J Check out local Boy Scout Troops offering Webelos sessions.

J call local park districts, nature centers, etc. and ask what
Webelos programs they offer. These places include:
Northbrook Leisure Center 847.291.2995
Eco-ScOutings at Evanston Ecology Center 847.448.8256
Glenview Park District

J attend the monthly Potawatomi District Roundtable in Wilmette and
get ideas from other Webelos dens in the area

J Google 'Webelos College' or 'Webelos University' along
with a northern IL municipality keyword
