Girl Scout Troop 1527

Troop 1527 is looking for any girls currently in 4th or 5th grade who are interested in joining Junior Girl Scouts.

Please contact Ms. Angela at at GSTroop1527@gmail.com or via phone to 386-307-0235 for more information.  Be sure to include your daughters grade and age.

We had a great summer and the girls really enjoyed earning their Flowers Badge. We visited Flagship Harbor Preserve where the girls decided on what steps they were going to do to earn the badge and then we walked over to the Flagler Beach Library and worked on our Botany Notebooks. We then met up again to work on those steps and the girls made lavendar bath beads, did experiments with flowers, made a fresh flower arrangement, and started the process of drying and pressing flowers for future use. We wrapped up the badge with a trip to Kanapaha Botanical Gardens and the Florida History Museum in Gainesville. The gardens were awesome and we visited the Butterfly Rainforest at the museum which was just as awesome!>

No matter what grade your daughter is in if she is interested in Girl Scouting you can email Ms. Angela and she will forward your interest to the appropriate person.

~ Girl Scouts ~

Building girls of courage, confidence and character.

What We Do!

We are a Back to Basics troop.

We believe that girls given the opportunity to try new activities or learn new skills under safe, adult supervised guidance will develop in the areas of courage, confidence, and character - through the processes of both success and failure.

We believe that all girls can benefit from their time in Girl Scouting but only as much as they are allowed to fully experience the program.  To that end we strongly encourage our girls and their families to fully commit to the program and see their participation as that of part of a team.
