Welcome to Troop 287.  The number "287" originates from the bible in Psalm 28:7 "The Lord is my strength and my shield, my heart trusts in him, and I am helped my heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song".  We believe the Lord is our strength and we trust in him in all that we do.  Our mission is to develop leaders that foundation is based in integrity and honor.  This is a boy lead troop that allows the boys to reach their highest potential before they venture into adulthood.  We are also a very active troop with activities such as, camping, cycling, hiking, canoeing and backpacking as a regular part of routine.  If you are looking for a troop that will come come along side you as a parent then look no further.  Please go to our "contact us" section and we will be happy to meet you!
