Good question! The answer is "Yes" and "No"!
Cub scouts do not meet during school holidays including summer vacation, Labor Day, Memorial Day, MLK Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring break. In other words, if they didn't go to school, they don't have a meeting either.
Boy scouts, on the other hand, meet year round except for Thanksgiving break, Christmas break, Spring break, Memorial and Labor Day observances. Should the 4th of July fall on a Monday, then we will not meet that day. Otherwise, we need and expect Boy Scouts to attend regularly and prepared to do their best!
Remember, we can't help your scout if he isn't attending meetings and does not have the required materials!
