The backbone of any successful Pack is it's adult leadership. Parents who have taken an active part in their scout's experience have often found that they can have as much fun as the boys.
I have personally found that participating as a leader shows my son the true meaning of dedication, responsibility and loyalty.
Many feel at a time that boys are starting to grow away from their parents, scouts has given them a purpose to continue to relate and communicate, nurturing a relationship that otherwise might have suffered at the hands of the typical busy modern day family schedule.
So whether you decide to support us by signing up as a leader or just support your son and his den in their activities, welcome and thank you!
The pack has a committee meeting the second Wednesday of the month in the Religious education building behind the Rectory. It runs from 8:00PM to 9. All parents are invited. We discuss pack business, upcoming events, pack financials and anything else related to a successful program.
I hope to see you there!
New in September 2014 we are looking to make it as easy as possible for all to participate. We have a call in number so you can conference call in from the comfort of your home and still be involved.
