Daisy Troop #896
SU #603
Troop 795 SU 602 (on right)
The yellow material represents one of the Daisy Colors. The flowers represent the Flower Garden from our Journey where Vi and Tula reside. THE QT lids represent each girl in our troop, blue, the other daisy color and recycling, re purposing, using our resources wisely as well as making the world a better place.
Troop 1563 SU 610
Our troop has a history of exploring all the new opportunities we can find, hence the "love 2 explore" on our flag. We have gone to World Thinking Day, Sock hops, PJ Parties, Mother-Daughter Tea, Worlds of Fun, Owl Prowl, Astronomy at a local nature park, puppetry arts theater, we sewed items, participated in community clean up, encampment, zoo, day camp, Watkin's Mill and the Girl Scout 100-year anniversary. We're a small, but close group. We think Girl Scouts, like ourselves, are "Cool, awesome, totally adorable and sweet!"
Troop 1008 SU 607
Troop 1008s flag is a collage of ourselves as individuals, what we love about girl scouts and ways in which we can help our community. We worked on our flag ourselves without adult assistance. Our flag demonstrates the importance of teamwork, sisterhood, compassion, caring, individuality, environment and pride for our country.
Troop 1510 SU 602
The girls in our troop decided that the best way to depict the Girl Scout organization and our troop is to tell the story themselves. Each girl in our troop painted one square of the flag. In each square, the girls share with you what Girl Scouts means to them. For each of us, it means something different and when you put it all together (sew it together) it really shows the unity our troop has and depicts what Girl Scouts is all about - Togetherness.
Troop 1282 SU 607
Our flag represents our first year as a "Daisy" Girl Scout Troop. Each hand print is done in a color that symbolizes each part of the Girl Scout law that we have learned this year. Each hand print is unique like each part of the "law" is different and unique. And both the hand prints and the Girl Scout law have become dear to our hearts by the end of our first year together.
Troop 3591 SU 607
The girls voted on the colors and decided they wanted hand prints to be on the flag. After some discussion the girls felt this flag shows the uniqueness of each one of them but shows more importantly what all of them combined looks like. A strong group of girls that work together as a team to accomplish their goals.
Troop 1580 SU 607
The creation and meaning of our flag had a lot of time put into it. Each and every girl first designed their own flag. They were asked to create a flag that would describe what our Daisy Troop meant to them. All 6 girls included a cross somewhere on their flag. Seeing this as we compiled their pictures into one, it was easy to see what the center and focus of our flag would be, the Cross. The girls feel that their Faith in JESUS is the most important thing about our group. Which also follows the Girl Scout Pledge of Serving God First. (First line of Girl Scout Pledge: on my honor, i will try: To serve God and my country...)
As you continue to look at our flag you will see that the grass at the bottom is a traced hand of each of the girls representing their service to God, their country and others. The hearts the girls traced represent their love and connection to each other, to Girl Scouts and for living by the Girl Scout Law. The butterflies represent each girl's individuality and everyone's acceptance of this.
We have 6 girls that make up our Daisy group so the title of our Flag was very fitting. 6 girls + 6 hearts = Girl Scout Love
Troop 3085 SU 601
Troop 3085 is a large troop with many talents and good hearts. The diverse, bright colors chosen by the girls represents our diverse talents and personalities that work so well together. The bright colors represents the personalities that shine through. A tent was chosen as the center piece of the flag for their love of outdoors and the good times we have camping together. Everything the girls do is encompassed with love of the earth (the tree), recycling and their care ofor others (the first aid symbol) Troop 3085 loves Girl Scouting!
Troop 32
A Dad calls us the Duck Patrol because every time we camp it rains.
Troop 4 SU 607
Our Troop flag covers our journey in Girl Scouts and our Wonders of Water Journey.
We included patches from some events and cookies that we have sold. Our Troop signed it..
Troop 37
Our flag doesn't have a history. My daughter is the only original member of the troop. We are different and unique and we each made a part of our flag to represent us.
Troop 385 SU 603
Like the American Flag and how there are 50 stars for each state, we have 8 stars for each member of the troop.
The flowers and the owl represent how we have gained so much knowledge about many things , about nature. Some examples are how to do things and still not harm the animals in the woods, also how to take care of nature but use it effectly.
We put the giant Thin Mint to represent our favorite cookie ever and put patches around it, so we can remember our favorite times.
Troop 167 SU 602
We voted as a troop on the design deciding to honor Girl Scouts 100th year Birthday!
