All new boy scouts must fully fill out and return a Boy Scouts of America Youth Application to the Troop Committee Chair, along with a check in the amount of $65.00 in order to join Troop 504. The breakdown of the $65.00 is as follows:
- $21.00 for national registration and insurance
- $15.00 for boys' life magazine
- $1.00 for insurance
- $28 for handbook and requirements book
Which would leave you with the responsibility of purchasing your son's official scout uniform which consist of an official boy scout shirt, pants/shorts and belt with buckle as well as all necessary insignia.
You may chose to purchase said items in person at the South Florida Council Scout Shop or online at www.scoutstuff.org.
