Opening and Closing: This involves the den performing Colors (presentation of the flag and the pledge of allegiance) as and a designated ceremony for the opening of the pack meeting. These will follow the theme for the month and will be provided to the den in advance so that they make practice.
Skits/Songs: part of being a cub scout is having fun and performing for the pack. This can be as simple as performing some den cheers that you have made up, singing a song, doing a short skit or two or even telling jokes. Ideas for these can be found at www.boyscoutrail.com as well as by talking to the Cub Master who may have ideas that fit into the theme for the month
Den Presentations: This should simply be a way for the rest of the pack to see what you have been working on in your den. It can be a display, a speech, or a simple explanation of a project. Speaking in front of a group is an important part of scouting – so we want to provide as much opportunity as possible.
