Akela means "good leader".
Akela can be your Cubmaster, den leader, family member, community member, etc.
Scouts should choose a good Akela or Akelas to learn from.
The Cub Scout Helps The Pack Go:
Scouts help the pack go by being active members in their dens and packs.
Scouts should follow the rules, listen to Akela, attend meeting, and participate in community activities.
Scouts should always do their part and help others in the Pack meet their goals.
The Pack Helps The Cub Scout Grow:
Being a part of a Cub Scout Pack will help the scout grow into a good citizen.
The leaders, parents, and other scouts will help you learn new and interesting things.
You will be able to have many positive experiences in Cub Scouting.
The Cub Scout Gives Goodwill:
The Cub Scouts do good for their community and for other people.
Scouts should be positive and helpful to others.
Scouts should spread goodwill by helping others and influencing them to pass on the favor.
