Join Scouting Night

Join Scouting Night is an exciting evening where families interested in joining Cub Scouting can meet with other members of the Pack.  The night is for boys and their parents to come and learn all about Cub Scouting and to join in the fun!

Pack 123's Join Scouting Night will be on an evening very early in the school year, typically during the last week of August or the first week of September.

Cub Scouting is for boys from First through Fifth Grades.  Each new Scout will join a Den based on their Grade level, and they will remain with the same age-specific group of boys until they cross over into Boy Scouts at the end of 5th Grade.

We especially invite 1st  and 2nd Graders to join and begin the Cub Scout journey!  First Graders become a part of this year's new Tiger Den, where Scouts and Parents participate equally as the boys "learn the ropes" of Scouting.  Second Graders will join the Wolf Den, where they can learn all about Scouting together with boys who have been in for a year.  But whether your boy is in 1st Grade, 5th Grade, or somewhere in-between, all boys are welcome at Pack 123!

At Join Scouting Night, leaders from each Den will be present to answer any questions you or your boy may have, and to explain all the fun and exciting things that Cub Scouting has to offer.  From camping, to uniforms, achievements, or the Pinewood Derby, Pack outings and parties, there are many, many different ways for a boy to grow and have fun while doing so.  Please join us!
