1. Quality Candy/Buddy Squirrel Annual Open House/Tour -

2. Home Depot Kids Workshop - Saturday, Februrary 2nd  (9am - 12 pm) -  
West Allis Location - Contact is Chris (414) 329-1366 - x077.
You can reserve ahead of time a 9am/10am/11am timeslot for your Den/Pack.
(Reserving at least 3 days prior will be a good idea - since the West Allis location has about 300-400 kids come through.)
Most projects are either Hammer/Screwdriver based. (Great for achievements/electives!)

3. Thursdays in April (4th, 11th, 18th, 25th) - (6:30 pm - 7:30 pm) Hales Corners Lutheran Church - "God & Me Program"
Open to ALL scouts, the Cub Scouts have the ability to earn their Religious Emblem.
There is a Fee of $12 per scout. (SIGN-UP is required.)

8. Tandy’s Leather - (Via Linda Okerlund) -  TandyLeather Company 5606 S 108th Street Hales Corners (414-529-5725). Best thing to do is goyourself pick out a small simple project, talk to Kristy and pick out aSaturday morning your den can gather and work on it. She holds Scout classes10:00- 12 noon most Saturday mornings each month. The pocket knife case, coinpouch or flash light kit worked best. Wallet to difficult definitely discourageor just so the Scout knows it will be take home project. Hard to finish ingiven amount of time.  Our den all had lunch together atNoodles afterwards. I found that was fun for parents and Scouts. Great day forall! Tandy Leather is located next to Hwy 100 Dollar Store parking in Kmart'sparking lot. . Definitely a great outingespecially if you can wrap an achievement or badge around it. For Webelosworking with leather went under our craftsman Webelo Activity Badge. Greatexperience for the Scouts!

S73 W16730 Janesville Road 414-422-0250  / Saturdays & Sunday afternoons are BEST – (between 2pm – 4pm) Length – about 45 minutes – 1 hour / Need 2 day notice ahead of time – for head count.  Each child will get to make their own personal pan pizza (cheese, sausage or pepperoni) & get a tour of the store. COST: $3 – includes pizza & drink.  Manager Ken may also let your adults & siblings ages 5 + to also do this for $3 a piece. 

10. Cross Country Skiing at Whitnall Park - Winter Clubhouse Concessions & Rentals / 6751 South 92nd street, Franklin, WI 53132 - 414-525-4765 Or contact Bob directly (M-F) – 414-257-4516 / Bob is super! (Robert.PoushaJr@milwcnty.com) He will help you reserve your Ski boots for your group.  Kid sizes they typically do not have too many of on-hand.  If you can get a list of ALL people’s sizes he can make sure they have enough ski boots on hand for your group.  Group Rate may vary – but Bob offered a $12.50 rate per person with a group of 10 people or more. NOTE: Regular ski rental rates are $25 for the day. Ski boots do tend to run large – so wear heavy socks or bring some extras along, just in case.

15. See a Gaelic Harper at the Muskego Public Library - Tuesday, March 19, 2013 - @ 7pm.  www.jeffpockat.com Jeff Pockat is a self taught Celtic Harpist and Composer.  GREAT FOR MUSIC Beltloop/Pin!!!

  • Cost:   $15 per scout:  2 hour group lesson - individual attention  & practice time 
  •           $20 per scout:  lesson/practice time shown above - Safety Gear rental (helmet, knee/elbow pads required) 
  •               & Skateboard rental (if needed) **A limited number of Skateboards are available to rent** 
  • When:  beginner lessons offered every Saturday 9-11am 
  • Waiver: required to participate, must be signed by parent available on website and at skatepark check-in                    
  • Scout Awards:  Skateboarding belt loop  / Skateboarding pin 
  • Group Size: best for groups of 5-10 scouts

  • Additional Info: Staff is great working with kids.  They set rules, keep their attention and are extremely positive and supportive throughout the entire learning process!!  Highly recommended as a den outing.

19. www.joansfunzone.com - Joan & Ted Swiezynski have 2 scouts in the pack.  Joan puts together summer calendars of "fun".  But along with that points out opportunities for cub scouts to work on achievements, electives, beltloops, and pins.
