Pack 186 is a supporter of the Friends of Scouting campaign. This annual campaign provides funds for the Mecklenburg County Council. None of your registration fee goes to the Mecklenburg County Council. Council funds come from two primary sources: popcorn sales by Cub Scout Packs and Boy Scout Troops in the Mecklenburg County Council and Friends of Scouting. Pack 186 includes a Friends of Scouting drive annually.
